Emmy-winner Valerie Harper is actually filming a TV movie inside Canada, the UP cable sales channel said.

The TV movie, titled 'The Town That Came A-Courtin', is dependant on a novel by Ronda Rich and as well stars Lauren Holly, Cameron Bancroft and Lucie Guest.

UP, which described the movie as a possible uplifting romance, said Wednesday it welcomed the 'inspirational' Harper within the project.

The 73-year-old actress said she's been informed they have a rare, in March, incurable brain cancer but that she intended to live each moment fully.

Valerie Harper obtained fame playing Rhoda Morgenstern in television's "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and 'Rhoda'.

'The Town That Came A-Courtin' will air flow in January 2014, the sales channel said. It's being shot inside the Vancouver_ British Columbia.
