One Direction’s star Zayn Malik is usually engaged to Little Mix artist Perrie Edwards, the bride-to-be’s pal confirmed via Twitter.

'Right. My own sister and Zayn Are Employed! It’s true! ' Jonnie Edwards tweeted. 'You seen the ring for the finger and all that Jazz! Congrats!!!'

Zayn and Perrie, 20, hit the red carpet Tuesday night for the London premiere of the boy band’s documentary, 'One Direction: That is Us, ' with Edwards flaunting the revolutionary engagement ring on her remaining hand.

Zayn Malik proposed last weekend after two years of dating, according to British isles newspaper The Mirror.

'It’s on the list of first weekends they’ve spent jointly, as they’ve both been on tours with their bands. Zayn wanted to wait for the perfect moment', a source told the newspaper.

'All the girl bandmates were at V Pageant, and she couldn’t wait to see them. They’re all really excited to be with her, as the rest of  One Direction are for Zayn'.
