Robin Williams Talks 'The Crazy Ones' Life
Robin Williams makes his first get back to television since 'Mork and Mindy' 32 years back with 'The Crazy Ones, ha premiering Thursday night at 9/8c with CBS.

Williams plays a quirky ad genius who runs a company with his daughter, played simply by fellow TV heavyweight Sarah Michelle Gellar.

'I'm using the services of a great cast, ' Williams said on 'CBS Last Morning. ' I mean, I'm - they're form of focusing on me, but it's a superb ensemble, which makes it a whole lot better for me.'

Some folks are calling Williams a new Don Draper from 'Mad Men'. Told from the comment, Williams said, 'No. Do not go there. It's early. 'The brand new Don Draper. ' God bless anyone. '

To establish his personality, Williams turns to an adviser named John Montgomery who was an adman in Chicago for the well-known agency Leo Burnett. Williams explained Montgomery tells him good stories about dealing with sponsors.

Williams recounted - within his typically frenetic style: 'He was once on the phone with the sponsor, and also he said 'Well, we're going to possess a unicorn in this commercial. ' And the sponsor actually went, 'A actual unicorn? ' He went, 'What will i say to them? No, it's a pony with prosthesis. I have no idea of. How do you talk these through it? He told us stories regarding he once did a promotion in Times Square that had a giant coffee pot pouring coffee right into a cup over Times Square, but they didn't factor in wind, then it started to spray Times Square with hot coffee, like some sort of hot brown rain, which appears like a Prince song. I envision Times Square was similar to, 'Hey, that may be great. Forget Starbucks. ' It truly is pretty wild, but he's already been the adviser. My character is not him, but he advises (me) with him. '

Turning to the personal life, Williams, who committed his third wife Susan, within 2011 at an Apple retail store, joked about his third time to the altar: 'Third time, here is the charm. That's it - forget about. '

'CBS This Morning' co-host Gayle King noted Williams' own definition of divorce, saying, 'I thought this is hilarious: (you said) divorce hails from the Latin meaning 'to rip a man's genitals away from his wallet'. '

Williams reacted, 'That was an old, older joke. 'Through his wallet, ' but thank you. Old, old joke, but thanks for bringing that returning. Come kick me within the heart. '

The star of films like 'Mrs. Doubtfire' and 'Good Will Hunting' made the remark in mention of the particular damage that is done since his heart surgery in '09, which he has been genuine in discussing.

So how can be he doing now? 'The cow valve remains working, ' Williams said, 'I can crap standing in place. (Takes a drink from the coffee cup) Morning, every-body.'

But then, more seriously, Williams stated of life after surgery, 'You have a big next chance. It's a big reboot. Your whole process reboots and you appreciate everyone and everything. Every day above ground as the saying goes. Do earth worms say 'every morning below ground'? You graze every twenty eight days. I'm so glad, I didn't receive the mechanical valve because you can hear them. Tick, tick, mark, tick.'
