Actress Lena Headey fans who have been disappointed that her character didn’t get to kick some behind from the 2006 flick 300 should be extremely happy with this sequel.

The Dredd villain stars as Gorgo from the upcoming action flick. The actress told Entire Film that she didn’t hesitate to pick up a weapon when she discovered the smoothness gets to do a few on-screen fighting.

The particular 300 sequel tells this story of Greek general Themistokles as he attempts to unite his state against a Persian military led by mortal-turned-God Xerxes. As an alternative to fighting an epic fight on land, a wide range of the action will be held at sea.

Besides Game of Thrones alum Lena Headey, this follow-up stars Sullivan Stapleton, Eva Green, Hans Matheson, David Wenham, Rodrigo Santoro, Igal Naor, Callan Mulvey, Jack O’Connell, and Andrew Tiernan.

Movie director Noam Murro’s 300: Rise of an Empire was originally slated heading to screens across North America later in this year. However, Warner Bros thought i would push back the launch. The flick is now likely to arrive on 7th March, 2014. Presuming, of course, that the studio decides to stay with this date.
